Suzan Jones paints the things she loves most — and honestly? A lot of that involves dogs.

I’m a watercolor artist based in California, and I work from my studio at home — which means there’s usually at least one family member wandering through.

I paint animals, people, and the moments that make you smile. My style is warm, a little detailed, and a lot obsessive (in the best way).

In 2026, my painting “Best Seat in the House — Ceasar” was selected for the AKC Museum of the Dog’s juried exhibition “Dog Days of Summer,” showing July 16 – September 27 at 101 Park Ave, NYC. My first museum show. I’m still processing it.

I take a limited number of commissions each month — pet portraits are my favorite thing to paint. Custom pieces start at $500.
